**Job Title:** Concrete Saw Operator

**Location:** Urbandale, Iowa

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Saw Operator to join our team working on concrete projects throughout the Des Moines and Central Iowa area. This role involves operating saw equipment, supporting site preparation, and assisting with general labor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate walk-behind and handheld concrete saws to cut expansion joints, trenches, and demolition lines

+ Interpret site plans and layout markings to ensure accurate and safe cutting locations

+ Perform routine maintenance and blade changes on saw equipment

+ Assist with site preparation and cleanup, including debris removal and dust control

+ Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain efficient cutting schedules

+ Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and equipment handling

+ Transport saws and tools to and from job sites across the Des Moines metro area

+ Support general labor tasks as needed, including shovel work, material handling, and concrete finishing

Requirements:

+ Proven experience operating concrete saws in a construction setting

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments

+ Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
