Job Title: CNC Setup Operator - Vertical Milling Department
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join our vertical milling department. This role involves operating various CNC machines to produce precision machined products, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and set up Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers with table sizes up to 60 inches.
+ Work with Bridgeport Mills for machining tasks.
+ Utilize Virtual tools for machine programming from customer electronic files.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate machining.
+ Apply GD&T knowledge to maintain high precision and quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
+ Degree in machine tool or CNC operations.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
+ Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and composites.
+ Familiarity with hardware installation, assembly, and screen printing.

Work Environment
This position is in a small, friendly machine shop with 13 people on the floor. The dress code is casual, allowing for T-shirts and jeans. You will be working on precision machining services, including long and short runs, as well as prototype projects on various materials.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
