Job Title: Warehouse Worker $18-20/HR

Job Description

Join our expanding team in a new warehouse with cutting-edge cutting and tempering machines. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our loading and warehouse department on the day shift. Be a part of a team that values quality and efficiency in a niche industry.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the production, cutting, and tempering process of glass.

+ Operate machinery and read order tickets for precise glass measurements.

+ Engage in shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse.

+ Operate forklifts and learn to use overhead cranes for moving glass.

+ Unloading glass from semi-trucks and storing it properly.

+ Prepare glass for the IG line using an overhead crane.

+ Load finished glass products into semi-trucks for shipment.

+ Manually move windows between vertical and horizontal positions.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing or production is required.

+ Ability to consistently lift glass and handle heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.

+ Mechanical inclination, such as experience with working on cars or taking apart machinery.

+ Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift and crane experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

+ General labor experience is beneficial for handling glass panels.

+ Production experience is a plus for understanding manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean and updated, with expansion underway. Please note that the environment can be warmer in the summer and colder in the winter months. The dress code is casual, and safety gear is provided when necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
