Job Title: Production Lead

Job Description

This role is for the 2nd shift. The Production Shift Leader I is responsible for operating multiple pieces of production line equipment across various areas, assembling or disassembling production line equipment depending on the shift assignment, and organizing labor on food production lines under the direction of supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and manage multiple pieces of production line equipment.

+ Assemble and disassemble production line equipment as needed.

+ Organize and arrange labor on food production lines.

+ Document downtime, setting changes, and materials used during production runs.

+ Train and provide explanations to production line employees, addressing any questions they may have.

+ Communicate effectively with various levels of leadership.

+ Follow company procedures for safety, quality, and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2 years of manufacturing production experience, preferably in the food industry.

+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

+ Previous food industry experience preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
