    We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to support the Company’s implementation of Concur Invoicing and Concur Expense. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.     Responsibilities

    + Serve as Accounting project lead for the SAP Concur implementation, partnering with internal stakeholders, IT, Operations, Shared Services, Procurement, and external consultants to ensure a successful rollout.

    + Define business requirements, participate in system configuration and testing, and lead user training and adoption efforts.

    + Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls for the new system.

    + Manage the full-cycle AP process post-implementation, including invoice processing, expense reports, purchase cards, and month-end close.

    + Maintain Concur systems settings and access rights. Troubleshoot issues and outlier transactions and ensure optimal use of the platform.

    + Partner with Procurement, Treasury, Payroll and other departments to ensure seamless procure to pay processes.

    + Perform data analysis on AP transactions to ensure system interfaces are working properly and mapping all transactions between systems.

    + Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to streamline workflows.

    + Manage strong working relationships with Operations and vendors to resolve escalated payment issues.

    + Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to reporting inquiries.

    + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP team.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.

    + 5+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, including supervisory experience.

    + Proficiency and understanding of both Costpoint and government contracting.

    + Advanced Excel skills to reconcile data between systems, analyze and summarize information, and identify bottlenecks within the workflow.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Leadership and communication skills.

    + Comfortable with technology, continuous learning, and adaptability to support a dynamic work environment.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities.

    + This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Herndon, VA.
