•** **What You’ll Be Doing

+ Lay down strong Stick and MiG welds on barges in need of repair.

+ Grind, prep, and torch-cut metal with precision and care.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams like a pro.

+ Fit and measure materials with accuracy using tape measures.

+ Collaborate with the machine shop to ensure perfect material sourcing.

•️** **What You Bring to the Table

+ Skilled in MiG and Stick welding techniques.

+ Hands-on experience with torch cutting, grinding, and metal fitting.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.

+ Experience in fabrication and metalwork.

+ Welding certifications (preferred).

+ Shipyard experience (a plus).

+ Ready to work in all weather conditions—rain, snow, heat, and wind.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
