    Job Title: Press Tech Associate

     

    2nd shift (10 hours shift) Monday to Thursday

    Job Description

    We are seeking 2nd shift Press Associate to join our team. This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, primarily on metal forming machines, with a team-oriented approach. You will be part of a dynamic team ranging from three to Five members, depending on the product and job. This position offers a chance to develop into high level positions, where you will operate precision stamping and pressing machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Work collaboratively on a stamping press with a team of 3 to 5 members.

    + Pick up and put down materials as part of the production process.

    + Participate in cornerstone quality training and become part of the quality team.

    + Learn the basics of using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.

    + Progress to running various presses and cell areas as required.

    + Read work orders and blueprints

    + Troubleshoot machinery and perform first part inspections.

    + Ensure machinery is functioning properly and pressing accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to read work orders and perform basic math.

    + Experience in manufacturing, particularly with metal and machine assembly.

    + Proficiency in using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.

    + Ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
