Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our advanced manufacturing equipment. This role involves completing assigned maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, while coordinating with production schedules and department supervisors. The position is available for the 2nd or 3rd Shift and is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced manufacturing systems, including robotics, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.

+ Perform regular inspections, repairs, and replacements of machinery and production equipment.

+ Work in a temperature-controlled environment (typically 45°F), with occasional tasks in conditions ranging from -5°F to 100°F, both indoors and outdoors.

+ Maintain high standards of safety and reliability, including consistent attendance and availability for overtime as needed.

+ Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions for mechanical and electrical issues.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in electrical, maintenance technician duties, and troubleshooting.

+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and understand schematics, HVAC, and PLC troubleshooting.

+ Knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, including 3 phase and motors.

+ Experience in maintenance repair, PLC control, industrial maintenance, and electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

+ Training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S is a plus.

+ Skills in electrical systems, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, diagnostics, tube bending, and pipe threading.

Work Environment

The maintenance technician will work in a manufacturing facility that has extremely cold areas and some areas that are very hot. The environment typically maintains a temperature of 45°F but can range from -5°F to 100°F, both indoors and outdoors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
