Job Title: Mechanical and Hydraulic Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Hydraulic Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing tasks that require a high level of expertise in mixing and applying paint, as well as a basic understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, starting up, and shutting down equipment while adhering to safety procedures and OSHA requirements. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders to determine the appropriate methods and sequences for assembly.
Responsibilities
+ Perform work that requires high-level knowledge of mixing and applying paint.
+ Execute tasks requiring entry-level knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment in compliance with safety procedures and OSHA standards.
+ Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, technical orders, and schematic drawings to determine appropriate methods and sequences of assembly.
+ Clean, align, and assemble components using hand/power tools, fixtures, and templates to specification.
+ Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
+ Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Strong painting aptitude.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Willingness to work on hydraulic equipment.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two years of applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Experience in assembling system components (mechanical and hydraulic) for testing.
+ Ability to repair and maintain in-house equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment requires the ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines, and perform analysis and repair work in close quarters. Safety is a top priority, and you will be exposed to paints and high-pressure hydraulic fluid. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burlington, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $56160.00/yr.
