    Job Title: HVACR Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated HVACR Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all facility HVACR equipment. This full-time position operates from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all facility HVACR equipment, including belt and filter changes, greasing, oil changes, coil cleaning, coupling replacement, tube cleaning, and general cleaning and inspection.

    + Replace compressors, fans, motors, and pumps.

    + Repair refrigerant piping and condenser and evaporator coils.

    + Monitor and adjust equipment to meet facility set point, process, and energy requirements.

    + Perform seasonal equipment changeovers.

    + Understand, troubleshoot, operate, repair, and install HVACR control systems, including digital, analog electronic controls, pneumatic controls, and actuators.

    + Assist in adjusting ventilation in various areas.

    + Order required materials for HVACR maintenance and projects.

    + Provide input for HVACR equipment and system designs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in HVAC service, troubleshooting, and repair.

    + Preventive maintenance skills.

    + S2 License minimum.

    + Experience with refrigerant liquids.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Focus on refrigerant systems as the plumbing team will handle the majority of the heating.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Connecticut.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.00/hr.
