Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Pay:** **_$20-$24 an hour//Paid Weekly!!!_

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping and receiving operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth logistics by interacting with drivers, operating industrial scales, and assisting with basic manual labor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Greet and coordinate with inbound and outbound drivers.

+ Verify shipping documents and ensure proper paperwork is completed.

+ Operate industrial scales to weigh shipments accurately.

+ Record and report weight data in accordance with company procedures.

+ Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

+ Perform basic manual labor tasks such as palletizing, sorting, and staging materials.

+ Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.

+ Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.

+ Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely processing.

+ Help resolve any discrepancies related to shipping or receiving.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.

+ Ability to operate industrial scales and basic warehouse equipment.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Comfortable with physical tasks and lifting up to 40 lbs.

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Work Environment

Team members may be assigned to either the shipping office or the warehouse/shipping and receiving area, depending on operational needs. Occasionally, they may need to step outside to assist drivers with deliveries or pickups.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
