Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to provide repair and preventative maintenance on diesel engines used in cement trucks. This role requires troubleshooting and diagnosing engine error codes, as well as a strong background in fleet or heavy-duty diesel engines.

Responsibilities

+ Perform repair and preventative maintenance on diesel engines used in cement trucks.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose error codes on engines.

+ Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.

+ Conduct repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and transmission systems.

+ Maintain and repair fleet and heavy-duty diesel engines.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

+ 1 year of experience with diesel computers.

+ 1 year of diesel engine repair experience.

+ Experience with diagnostic tools.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1 year minimum of Diesel Mechanic work experience or relevant education.

+ Ability to provide own tools.

+ Experience with diesel computer systems.

Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing setting, working in small project teams. Required attire includes jeans and steel-toed boots, with necessary eye and ear protection provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dodge Center, Minnesota

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
