    Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

    Job Description

    This position involves sorting and preparing outbound packages in compliance with USPS standards. As a Mailing Distribution Associate I, you will ensure that all output adheres to specifications and that each job is thoroughly verified and reconciled before dispatch.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the Mailing Distribution Manager with the daily job schedule processing.

    + Ensure all output is sorted into appropriate USPS containers, including buckets, trays, and sacks.

    + Use a scanner and computer to verify job counts using proprietary software through the quality control (QC) Check-In tool.

    + Scan explanation of benefits (EOBs) and booklets to ensure 100% piece count prior to mailing.

    + Perform necessary QC inspections on each job based on departmental guidelines.

    + Verify that reprints are successfully submitted by other departments.

    + Collaborate with other departments to meet manufacturing goals.

    + Perform general housekeeping tasks, including upkeep of the facility, waste removal, and general assistance.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience navigating web browsers.

    + Basic math and reading skills.

    + Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

    + Attention to detail and quality orientation.

    + Safety-conscious mindset.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

    + Capacity to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and bending.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Cleanroom experience.

    + Familiarity with inspection and manufacturing processes.

    + Experience with general production, packaging, and machine operation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stratford, Connecticut.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
