    EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 70,000 people in need through 120 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Temporary Talent Acquisition Manager to work full time for our Human Resources Department.

     

    Wage:$25.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm ET (Hybrid - 3 days in Office/2 Days Remote)Location:99 Quentin Roosevelt Blvd, Garden CityReports To:Director of People and CultureThe role is a temporary replacement until March 31, 2026

    Primary Purpose of Job:

    The Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee aspects of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, from sourcing candidates to interviewing and candidate selection, ensuring that our organization attracts and onboards top talent. This individual will play a critical role in building a diverse and skilled workforce that aligns with the organization's mission and values.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with EAC Networks goals and values.

    + Collaborate with department leaders/ supervisors to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.

    + Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and serve as back up for offers and hiring.

    + Facilitate posting of Requisitions sent by executive staff and facilitate job intake process.

    + Utilize diverse channels for talent acquisition, including job boards, social media, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions.

    + Coordinate and participate in Long Island and NYC recruitment events, job fairs, and other outreach activities to promote EAC Network as an employer of choice.

    + Collaborate with Director of People and Culture and the Onboarding Manager to ensure candidates are onboarded accurately and efficiently.

    + Enhance the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.

    + Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and networks.

    + Collaborate with the Director of People and Culture to develop and implement training programs for staff involved in the recruitment process and assist where necessary.

    + Provide regular updates on recruitment metrics and progress on talent pipelines.

    + Stay informed about trends and developments in recruitment and talent acquisition and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

    + Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including candidate information, interview notes, candidate assessment tools, and hiring decisions.

    + Serve as back up to our Onboarding Manager and assist with creating candidate folders, collecting documents, running background checks, and verifying i-9 documentation.

    + Perform all other relevant tasks as assigned by leadership.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

    + Must have minimum 3+ years of experience in Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition.

    + Must be able to demonstrate known recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques.

    + Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.

    + Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.

    + Must have pleasant phone manner and be able to communicate and write professionally.

    + Must be able to multi-task responsibilities.
