S&OP Strategist- Product Portfolio Planning will oversee and help coordinate the complete product portfolio and life cycle in the beginning of the S&OP cycle. Coordinating the product lifecycle from the new product launch (NPL) through end-of-life (EOL). This includes planning, directing and coordinating the outcome of key decisions within the product lifecycle with multiple cross functional partners. Also, partnering with the S&OP Strategic Lead and S&OP manager to oversee any other S&OP escalations. Essential Responsibilities:
+ Participate in and lead the design, development, and implementation of the product life cycle and portfolio within the S&OP process
+ Capture and maintain key assumptions impacting forecast, product plans, operations, project scope and launch timelines
+ Create strong relationships with marketing, sales, sourcing/procurement, logistics, supply and demand planning teams
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on best practices to ensure alignment on product launches (NPL), end-of-life (EOL), customer trends, product health and marketing analytics
+ Coordinate product exit plans based on sales and marketing intelligence, sales performance and sell-in pace
+ Recommend changes to existing processes to further S&OP process maturity and performance excellence, with the goal of improving the NPL and EOL success rates
+ Work with cross-functional partners on product road maps and identify any risk within the supply chain
+ Organize product life cycle by outlining the milestones, processes, and timelines by working with multiple cross functional partners
+ Manage special topics as they arise, leading efforts through cross functional collaboration and detailed analyses to align on problem statements, identify potential solutions and their respective impact on cost, service, inventory, etc.
+ Prepare and present at the beginning of every S&OP cycle complex technical, operational and business evaluations in a concise and clear manner to support decision-making
+ Work to continuously bring a positive and action-oriented team culture
+ Ability to work through conflicts, and driving decisions among cross-functional teams
+ Ensure proper escalation of topics that arise through the S&OP process, as needed, including development of decision proposals
+ Drive continuous improvement efforts for our S&OP and planning processes in relation to content and flow of the meetings as well as cross functional stakeholder engagement
+ Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders

Required Qualifications:
+ Education – bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (minimum)
+ Experience – Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the following:
+ Product lifecycle/portfolio management
+ Overseeing NPI/EOL processes and planning cycles
+ Knowledge of S&OP/ IBP, demand planning and supply planning
+ ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
+ Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and presenting information to various key stakeholders
+ Self-starter and tolerates ambiguity with a desire to drive teams to productive solutions
+ Self-motivated and welcomes responsibility and takes the initiative to solve problems
+ Skills – knowledge and experience with S&OP process, product and portfolio management, demand planning, and supply planning functions/processes.
+ Travel - Up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Education – master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
+ Experience in demand planning, master production scheduling or supply planning
+ Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
+ Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Marketing, Sales Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders
+ Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting to and working with senior leadership stakeholders
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expected Salary Range
$96,900.00 - $184,200.00
