About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Investment Portfolio Control Consultant for the Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Investment Risk team.
The WIM Investment Risk team is a unit within the WIM Investment Solutions Center of Excellence. WIM Investment Risk is responsible for
the design, implementation, and execution of the WIM Investment Risk program which sets the standards and requirements for investment
activities when acting as fiduciary. Programs include investment portfolio, product and individual security risk monitoring. This role supports
the Fiduciary and Trust Services business, including the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client segments. Learn more about the

In this role, you will:
+ Lead or partner with the relevant business group to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk with broad impact
+ Act as key participant in large-scale planning
+ Review and analyze complex portfolio risk
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for measuring and managing larger scale or longer-term investment risk
+ Perform highly complex activities related to assessing portfolio risk exposures unprecedented factors
+ Provide input into complex investment processes and governance
+ Propose risk limits and remediation as needed
+ Make decisions to resolve complex issues requiring strong understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
+ Recommend solutions to improve efficiency, profitability, to reduce expense, and drive new initiatives
+ Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
+ Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of investment portfolio control experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Concentrated experience working with Trust or Fiduciary investments
+ Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
+ Demonstrated ability to own and execute controls with successful testing/audit results
+ Experience building effective partnerships to achieve goals to meet deadlines
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel
+ A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics
+ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
