The **Xerox Document Advisor** serves as the primary liaison between Xerox and the client for forms management and document solutions. This role combines consultative expertise, operational oversight, and business development to ensure seamless document workflow, inventory management, and client satisfaction. The Advisor will also identify opportunities to expand Xerox’s footprint by capturing additional print business.
Key Responsibilities
+ Act as the lead interface between the Xerox Print Center and the client for all forms management services.
+ Serve as the **on-site subject matter expert** for web ordering requisition processes.
+ Manage the web ordering and inventory application, providing order status updates to clients.
+ Obtain client approvals for form content, inventory replenishment quantities, and production practices.
+ Coordinate with outside commercial offset vendors, including:
+ Researching and generating quotation requests.
+ Obtaining cost quotations and authorizing offset production jobs.
+ Proactively manage warehoused inventory to minimize stockouts and maintain acceptable levels.
+ Oversee job completion on-site or off-site, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines and production standards.
+ Provide **design expertise** for forms produced via POD and/or offset technology, ensuring compliance with design guidelines and cost optimization.
+ Support the transition of forms to electronic mediums where applicable.
+ Identify and capture new business opportunities by redirecting print jobs from other vendors to Xerox.
+ Interface with subcontractors (e.g., OneTouchPoint) for order placement, inventory management, and upcharge handling.
+ Support special projects such as:
+ Closing client-operated print shops and transitioning work to Xerox centers.
+ Platform migrations (e.g., ReqDirect+ to ePS online catalog).
+ Business card and stationery programs.
+ Print shop relocations and logistics.
+ Storage and shipping programs for client departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Strong communication and follow-through skills.
+ Exceptional customer service orientation.
+ Knowledge and experience in **digital and offset print production** .
+ Graphic design knowledge and ability to consult on design best practices.
+ Business acumen with a focus on identifying revenue opportunities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Flexibility to adapt to client and Xerox team needs.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
+ Familiarity with Xerox systems and managed print services.
+ Experience with inventory management and vendor coordination.
+ Background in forms management and electronic document solutions.
