Description
**Cohesity Backup Administrator** to join our dynamic team in Dearborn, MI! This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of protecting TEKsystems digital future during a critical global rollout. We're looking for someone who sees backup and recovery not as a chore, but as an exciting challenge – a chance to architect resilience, engineer efficiency, and automate the future. If you're a team player, a problem-solver, and a "good person" (as our hiring manager puts it!), then buckle up, because this high-paced environment is where you'll make a tangible impact. **What You'll Be Driving:** As an Enterprise Backup and Recovery Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our digital assets, mastering our Cohesity kingdom. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will include: **Architecting Resilience:** Taking the wheel in designing, engineering, and ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of TEKsystems Cohesity backup infrastructure. **Pioneering Automation:** Leading the charge in automating tasks that remove "work and noise" from the system. Imagine automating Cohesity protection group creation/deletion and streamlining GitHub pull requests for infrastructure changes. You'll be the architect of smarter, faster, and more repeatable processes! **Fortifying Our Defenses:** Collaborating closely with our security teams to implement robust security measures, including intrusion detection systems for DLP, insider threat mitigation, and access controls, ensuring our data is ironclad. **Optimizing Performance:** Configuring and maintaining our Cohesity backup servers and software to ensure peak performance and seamless operation. **Crafting the Ultimate Safety Net:** Establishing and maintaining cutting-edge backup and recovery procedures that guarantee business continuity during system failures or in the face of malicious threats. **Becoming Our Proactive Sentinel:** Monitoring usage patterns and SLA metrics to identify potential issues before they even whisper, proactively resolving them to ensure the continuous availability and reliability of critical systems. **Charting the Future:** Analyzing system capacity and performance trends to anticipate future infrastructure needs and providing strategic recommendations for investment prioritizations. **Keeping Us Humming:** Performing routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and enhancements, to keep our systems running smoothly. **Who You Are:** You're a highly motivated individual with a passion for data protection and a knack for automation. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited by the prospect of a global Cohesity rollout. You're a natural collaborator, ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a team where "all hands on deck" is the motto.
