    Job Title: Access Control Installation Technician

     

    Pay Rate: $30–$32 per hour

     

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Access Control Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining access control systems in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic security systems and a strong understanding of commercial building infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install and configure access control systems including card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, and control panels.

    + Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coaxial, etc.).

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

    + Troubleshoot and repair access control components and wiring.

    + Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely and quality installations.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system configurations.

    Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience in access control or low-voltage system installation.

    + Familiarity with systems such as Genetec, Lenel, and Software House.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
