Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:
The Field & Support Technologies Practice is part of the larger Infrastructure (EO) Enterprise Operations. NIS Practices have teams of SME’s that support both sales and delivery of complex projects. The F&ST Transport engineering Practice Architect (PA) position primarily supports the delivery organization by working closely with GDM’s, EM’s and other Architects dedicated to the account. The primary role of the PA is to provide enterprise consulting, thought leadership and team oversight in their respective area(s) of expertise. The PA may be asked to work with technical and sales focused teams supporting solution design, scoping and Statement of Work creation. It can be expected that the position will spend 80% of his or her time on delivery support and 20% on sales engineering support.
Required Travel: Up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications
• 15+ years’ experience in a consulting and delivery role supporting:
• In depth working knowledge and experience within the following technical areas:
o Transport Engineering
• Circuit planning, design, installation, and management
• Router Migration
• CND Updates
• FUZE
• SONET, OTN, Ethernet, DWDM
o Site Development
• Program Management of Network Development & Modification:
• Engineering Interface
• Real Estate
• Entitlement
• Construction
o Vendor Management
• General Contractor
• Construction
• Utility
o OSP engineering
• NESC/NEC
• Pole Loading Design
• Aerial and buried infrastructure
• Fiber splicing/Splice points
• Fiber termination design
• Physical access points
• Traffic Control Design
• Joint Use Agreements
• Right Away Usage
o Telecommunications
• Telecommunications standards
• Cabling standards
• Fiber optic cabling
• Copper Cabling
• Radio Frequency (RF) Technologies
• Base Transceiver Site (BTS)
• Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
• Small Cell
o Quality Assurance & Control
o Project Management methodologies (ITIL, PMI)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Excellent customer facing/presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $192000.00/yr.
We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, commissions, profit sharing, etc.
