We’re seeking experienced automotive professionals to join our growing customer contact team as Mechanical Claims Specialists. Key Responsibilities:
+ Evaluate, investigate, and process mechanical claims using your in-depth automotive knowledge.
+ Communicate with vehicle owners, dealerships, and repair facilities via phone and email to resolve claim-related inquiries.
+ Provide empathetic and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all callers.
+ Maintain accurate electronic records using company-specific systems and adhere to established processes.
+ Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of integrity and service.
Types of Calls You’ll Handle:
+ Dealership Inquiries – Determine warranty coverage for proposed vehicle repairs using provided guidelines.
+ Customer Questions – Explain claim decisions and guide customers through the claims process.
+ Repair Guidance – Advise customers on next steps for vehicle issues and how to obtain quotes for potential coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related mechanical field.
+ Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple software systems.
+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced call center environment.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ ASE certification is a plus.
+ Bilingual (Spanish & English) candidates preferred.
Additional Considerations:
+ Must be available for a 2-week onboarding training at one of our designated locations.
+ Occasional Saturday shifts required.
+ A high-speed home internet connection and quiet workspace are necessary for remote/hybrid work.
+ Experience with labor guides (e.g., AllData) and scan tools is a plus.
Interview Topics May Include:
+ Your mechanical experience and previous roles.
+ Specific automotive projects or challenges you’ve handled.
+ Customer service experiences, especially with difficult situations.
+ Familiarity with vehicle parts and diagnostic tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
