    We are looking for a **Senior Partner Development Manager** for our Enterprise Partner Sales team which is part of Microsoft’s Worldwide Sales & Solutions (WSS) organization, and is accountable for building and co-selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services. Our Enterprise partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisories, high-value management consultancies (SI), independent software vendors (ISV) and software development companies - working together to empower people and organizations to achieve more.

     

    You’ll work across sales, finance, legal, engineering, and executive teams to orchestrate multi-threaded deals from origination to close. Your role is pivotal in aligning partner ambitions with Microsoft’s strategic priorities, ensuring every agreement delivers measurable value and long-term success.

     

    You’ll be joining a small team within Enterprise Partner Solutions that thrives on solving the hardest business and technical problems through joint innovation, strategic insight, and operational excellence. We operate as trusted advisors internally and externally and cross-functional leaders, driving clarity, speed, and impact across the deal lifecycle.     Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office within the US, or a 25-mile commute of a non-US, country specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

    Responsibilities

    + You will identify and attract new strategic Software Development Companies (SDCs) aligned to cloud solutions or industry to help them innovate more quickly, launch new products, reach new markets and grow their customer base. You will also be responsible for driving incremental revenue opportunities with existing partners to increase Microsoft’s cloud share of wallet with the Partner.

    + Partner development and growth - You will drive the development of strategic and tactical partner business plans aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives. You will promote cloud consumption and digital transformation; plans will consider short and long-term goals and performance expectations aligned with partner needs and capabilities.

    + Partner Sales and Acceleration - You will develop a go to market plan and co-sell execution tactics, shape governance for partner pipeline reviews and coach partners to transform their strategies around sales and consumption.

    + Partner Performance and Impact - You will be responsible shaping expectations for partners’ performance with Microsoft. You will drive adoption, usage and performance of programs and investments that contribute to sales and consumption.

    + Executive Relationship Building - You will build a trusted-advisor relationship with C-suite leaders of complex partners and align their priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft’s.

    + Advocate for Partner and Team Mobilizer - you will represent the partner and lead the orchestration resolution to complex and urgent escalations. You will guide internal groups to prioritize partners' solutions and issues.

    + Embody and promote Microsoft’s culture and values .

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience

    + 5+ years of experience with Consultative Selling and developing tactics to manage pipeline, sales opportunities and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing, and mitigating risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities.

    + 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, building, managing, and growing technology partner ecosystem sales programs and organizations.

    **Other** **Requirements** **:** Microsoft is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the role’s job duties.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, OR advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or related field AND 8+ years partner management, sales, developer, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry.

    + Proven history as a negotiator with an ability to influence and achieve mutually satisfying agreements through negotiations.

    + Executive relationships: ability to interact confidently with senior leaders to present and address concerns regarding an existing project, program or solution

     

    Partner Development Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
