This position is for a full-time role in Colorado Springs, CO (100% on site).
Responsibilities:
+ Calendar management (coordinate/sync unclassified and classified calendars)
+ Help coordinate/prepare briefing packages
+ Coordinate with Program Management team to meet contractual requirements on cost and on schedule
+ Accountable for problem report tracking and closure for the operations IPT
+ Provide status reporting through both the functional and program reporting branches.
+ Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress and for intervention and problem solving with senior management and managers.
+ Evaluate and report health metrics for the IPT.
+ Maintain in-person presence to support ad-hoc requests from team members
+ Demonstrate dependability, accuracy, efficiency, and punctuality
+ Desire to work in a fast paced, changing, and diverse environment
+ Measure and report program performance metrics utilizing Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Project, JIRA, etc.
+ Provide mission operations support to the multiple NSS Satellite programs.
+ Provide mission operations support to Satellite programs including becoming obtaining & maintaining Flight Controller certification
+ Maintain standards associated with the established Integrated/Developmental Operations functional group processes.
+ May require travel ~ 10% of the time for support of customer or backup mission operations center.
This position can be hired as a level 2 or level 3 depending on experience and qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
+ Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience
+ U.S. citizen
+ Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI required at time of application
+ Ability to work within a group of diversified individuals with varying backgrounds to achieve mission success
+ Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including ability to make persuasive presentations to external customers at milestone review
+ Willingness and ability to support a 24/7 environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience conducting on-orbit mission operations and resolving satellite and ground system anomalies highly preferred
+ Experience writing technical documents for external customers
+ Leadership experience within a diverse team of engineers/operators
+ Experience working on government systems and/or government process environment
Primary Level Salary Range: $67,000.00 - $90,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $82,000.00 - $114,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
