    The Center for Recovery and Wellness takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to recovery and wellness that responds to the distinct needs of each individual. Programs include residential and outpatient addiction treatment, recovery services, prevention education, and community programming. CRW offers culturally competent, evidence-based programs and services that strengthen individuals and communities, enhance resiliency, and foster lasting recovery.

     

    The Social Care Network Compliance Coordinator will report to the Managing Director of Continuous Quality Improvement at CRW. This staff member will be responsible for supervising and training other SCN staff members and supporting the integrity and effectiveness of the Social Care Network by ensuring compliance with Medicaid regulations, state and federal guidelines, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in monitoring service delivery and data reporting across the agency. This role involves oversight and training of other staff members, conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and data collection and reporting.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Manage recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding qualified candidates to provide quality social care services.

    + Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to SCN staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to program standards.

    + Monitor compliance with Medicaid waiver requirements, managed care contracts, and Social Care Network (SCN) standards.

    + Train staff on effective and accurate use of the case management platform, ensuring consistent data entry, compliance with documentation standards, and improved service coordination across departments.

    + Conduct internal audits and quality assurance reviews of documentation, billing, and service delivery.

    + Track and report on key compliance metrics, including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data submissions.

    + Investigate and document potential compliance issues, including service gaps, and data discrepancies.

    + Coordinate with SCN partners to ensure the agency remains current and up to date on changes.

    + Support readiness for external audits or site visits by regulatory agencies or managed care organizations.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid regulations, social care integration models, and payment structures.

    + Collaborate with other internal SCN staff to support integrated care.

    + Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

    + Maintain confidentiality and act with cultural sensitivity and empathy.

    + Adhere to agency and program-specific policies and procedures.

    + Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other pertinent events as recommended by supervisors.

    + Perform any other duties as required

    **This position will be evolving over time. Services will begin at the Center for Recovery and Wellness but will eventually be expanded to other community centers within the lower east side community. Flexibility is essential to be successful in this role.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, or program monitoring—preferably in a healthcare or social services setting with supervisory experience

    + Familiarity with Medicaid programs, Health Homes, or social determinants of health initiatives.

    + Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems (e.g., EHRs or care coordination platforms).

    + Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

    + Some local travel is required for community site visits or events (travel costs will be covered)

    + Must maintain professionalism in sensitive and confidential situations

    + Flexibility as the agency rolls out enhanced care services
