    About the role

    As a **Functional Consultant – RGM and TPM** , you will make an impact by leading strategic consulting engagements for Retail and Consumer Goods clients, focused on optimizing revenue growth and trade promotion strategies. You will be a valued member of the RCGTH Consulting team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, project teams, and junior consultants.

    In this role, you will:

    + Deliver consulting projects focused on Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Trade Promotion Optimization (TPx), ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with client objectives.

    + Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and TPx software vendor landscape to identify growth and optimization opportunities.

    + Develop and implement RGM and TPx strategies, including pricing, trade promotions, assortment optimization, channel strategies, and closed-loop TPx processes.

    + Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing domain expertise across RGM and TPx.

    + Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

    Work model – Remote

    What you must have to be considered

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

    + 5–7 years of experience in the CPG industry with hands-on experience in RGM and TPx strategy, process, and digital transformation.

    + Deep understanding of RGM principles (pricing strategy, trade promotion management, assortment optimization) and TPx closed-loop processes (budgeting, planning, claims, ROI analysis).

    + Experience with RGM and TPx SaaS software such as SAP TPM, Salesforce TPM, XTEL, PriceFx, Vendavo, Pros, Vistex, Telus, Visualfabriq.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

    + Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team of consultants.

    + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

    These will help you succeed

    + Experience contributing to thought leadership materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry presentations.

    + Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the Retail/CPG sector.

    + Hands-on experience with RGM and TPx analytics and SaaS platforms.

    Compensation

     

    $85,000 - $100,000

     

    This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
