This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you´ll do
+ Drive the development and implementation of adhesive technology solutions within the electronics assembly domain, while also building in-depth application knowledge across a broad range of industrial electronics adhesive applications to support business growth and customer success.
+ Conducting laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.
+ Support new product development activities and quality standards.
+ Interact with customers for product recommendations and process improvements as well as internal communication.
+ Responsible for customer technical training via appropriate formats: academies, Webinars, at customer site, at Henkel facilities, etc.
+ Troubleshooting, Handling customer complaints, supporting Key customers in all technical related issues.
+ Use market and customer analytics to stay up to date on evolving industry trends
What makes you a good fit
+ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience.
+ Strong knowledge of electronic system design, assembly processes, and operating conditions.
+ Good understanding and hands-on experience in the application of adhesives for electronics assembly and some thermal management.
+ Good understanding of basic material testing methods (DSC, TGA, DMA, TMA, etc.), as well as relevant ASTM standards for adhesives used in electronics and device assembly. Numerical modeling experience is a plus.
+ Experience in writing technical papers or reports as well as presenting results to a technical team.
+ Must be able to work as a team member and independently on multi-task assignments as well as effective Problem solving, verbal and communication skills.
+ Traveling of up to 20% may be required.

The salary for this role is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
