Process Engineer II
As a Process Engineer II here at Solstice, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity related to non-ferrous metal forming and machining operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in troubleshooting, implementing advanced technologies, and analyzing data leads to increased efficiency, cost savings, and adherence to regulations and specifications.
You will report directly to our **Process Engineering Manager,** and you’ll work out of our **Spokane Valley, WA** location.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Ownership of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program including data acquisition, software, training, accountability while defining underlaying losses and systematically driving actions to improve the metric.
+ Analysis of trends, operational history, maintenance data and Root-Cause Failure Analysis
+ Develops risk management plans that will anticipate reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.
+ Designs maintenance programs to minimize maintenance complexity and reduce maintenance downtime.
+ Performs capital planning, critical spares evaluation and system component upgrades as required to ensure reliability and combat obsolescence.
+ Maintenance planning, troubleshooting and technician support.
+ Provides direct technical support in the event of critical system failures.
+ Oversee additional duties as assigned by Management.Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
+ Lead root cause analysis for defects in the backend processes or with customer performance issues.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives using the Lean/Six Sigma tools.
+ As subject matter experts, they will provide equipment and process information key to the expansion of the site.
+ Strategically craft manufacturing solutions that focus on cost efficiency, uncompromising quality, timely delivery, and ensuring the highest safety standards.
+ Participate in site HSE and process safety management programs, including management of change, process hazard analysis, root cause analysis/incident investigations, and development of standard operating procedures.
+ Bridge multiple layers of organization between management and front-line workers to deliver plant safety and production objectives
+ Mentor and train operations staff on unit design and intended/optimal operation. Assist operations department in troubleshooting plant operations issues.
MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering
+ 3-5 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance
+ 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment

+ Contractor management - overseeing and coordinating external contractors to ensure they meet an organization's safety and operational standards while meeting defined project objectives.
+ Procurement - knowledge and skills related to sourcing, purchasing, and managing the acquisition of goods and services.
+ Maintenance CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) - practical knowledge and proficiency in using CMMS software systems to manage maintenance operations, create and manage work orders, track assets, schedule preventative maintenance, and generating key metrics.
+ Use of SAP software is beneficial but not required.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80k - $97k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
