• Speech Language Pathologist

    Amergis (Estacada, OR)


    Salary: $2320 / Week

     

    The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Must have an Oregon SLP license or the ability to obtain it upon offer

     

    -Must have virtual SLP experience

    Monday-Friday

    Hours/Week (Paid/Unpaid Lunch):

    40 hr/wk

    Position Details (Age group, Caseload, Duties):

    -to support the Virtual Charter School, Summit learning charter.

     

    -This position is evaluating, re-evaluating and collaborating with case managers to provide direct speech services, group services and consultation services for students with Autism and speech therapy.

     

    -Age group: K-12

     

    -Will case manage about 14 students

     

    -Caseload: 55

     

    -All together will be working with around 60-65 students

     

    -Tech used: Powerschool used for IEP writing

     

    -School will provide them laptops

     

    -Want a candidate who has experience providing evaluations, doing re-evaluations, and do direct therapy

     

    -Want a candidate who can hit the ground running and work independently

     

    -First week will be an in-service week to prep for the school year
