    Speech-Language Pathologist | $70/hr Local or $2,795/week Travel | Full-Time | Chula Vista, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at one school site in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. This in-person role begins ASAP and runs through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year, covering a maternity leave.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Chula Vista, CA

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: 34 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

    + Pay: $70/hr (local) or $2,795/week (travel)

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Interview: Virtual

    Role Details:

    + Caseload: 50–55 students, grades K–6

    + Setting: Single school site

    + Focus: Strong background in AAC required

    + Responsibilities:

    + Conduct student evaluations

    + Provide and document therapy services per individualized plans

    + Collaborate with school teams and follow physician orders

    + Maintain compliance with professional standards and HIPAA

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active California SLP license

    + CCC-SLP preferred (may be required)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
