    **Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm

    **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience

    Description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Technical Assistant to support the Loose Tube Equipment Conversion project (Ranger). The role involves assisting with project planning, documentation, technical support, and coordination to ensure project success.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities and timelines.

    + Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and meeting minutes.

    + Provide technical support for equipment installation, testing, and troubleshooting.

    + Coordinate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and management.

    + Assist with procurement, budget tracking, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

    Education

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

    Experience

    + 2+ years in technical or project support roles; optical cable manufacturing experience a plus.

    Technical Skills

    + Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

    + Strong Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint skills.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.

    Soft Skills

    + Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

    + Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and solve problems proactively.

    + Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
