CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack Developer position for our client in Bakersfield, CA.

**Duration:** 3 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using microservices-based architectures.

+ Build rich, responsive UI applications using SPA or microfrontend approaches with ReactJS or Angular.

+ Develop scalable, resilient backend microservices following 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via APIs and event-driven interfaces.

+ Implement data models using modern SQL and NoSQL techniques.

+ Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka, Zookeeper, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ.

+ Deploy and manage applications on IBM Cloud services, including Cloud Functions, Code Engine, IKS/ROKS clusters, and Cloud Foundry.

+ Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and test-driven development workflows.

+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications using IBM Cloud observability tools.

Skills:

+ Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages: Java 8, GraalVM, NodeJS, Python, or .NET.

+ Expertise in Spring Boot; knowledge of Quarkus or Django is a plus.

+ Experience with frontend frameworks: ReactJS or Angular.

+ Proficiency in hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, particularly IBM Cloud.

+ Experience in containerized workloads, serverless architectures, and progressive web applications.

+ Familiarity with databases such as DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cloudant, ElasticSearch, Netezza, and Informix.

+ Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, Terraform, IBM Toolchain).

+ Understanding of networking, routing, storage, and security services within cloud environments.

Experience:

+ Demonstrated experience developing full stack cloud-native applications.

+ Proven ability to implement microservices, event-driven systems, and API-driven solutions.

+ Experience with Agile development processes, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.

+ Hands-on experience managing applications and services in IBM Cloud environments.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $37.00 to $42.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
