    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    + Master’s Degree in Nursing required.

    + National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse required.

    + Current license to practice as CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.

    + Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.

    + Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

    At least 3 years of APP experience working in family medicine or urgent care.
