You will lead and execute the Solution Partner Program, providing strategy, support and management for the GS1 US Solution Partner Program including leading the team that supports this program. You will manage program development, maintenance, qualifications, and deliverables to ensure the Solution Partner Program provides the member community with the necessary tools, products, and services to adopt and enable the GS1 system of standards.

    We are currently recruiting for this position, which offers a salary range of $170,000k to $215,000k.

     

    This position qualifies for participation in our annual employee bonus program.

    Who you are:

    You bring deep expertise in designing and managing Partner and Alliance programs across the technology, information, and services sectors, including experience with Channel Partners, Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Solution Providers. Your background features a proven ability to forge strategic relationships and deliver solutions that achieve tangible business results. With at least five years of experience overseeing Partner Programs or Communities, you have consistently led direct reports and driven team-based sales success.

     

    You are adept at engaging with C-level executives, senior leaders, and operational teams, effectively influencing decisions and fostering alignment. Your communication skills enable you to build strong connections in both individual and group settings, internally and externally. As an innovative thinker, you excel at translating strategic vision into actionable plans, especially within the supply chain arena. Your project management strengths support seamless cross-functional collaboration, allowing you to establish credibility and serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders throughout the organization.

    What you will do:

    As Sr. Director, Partnerships, you will empower the Solution Partner community to serve as a key channel for promoting the GS1 system of standards. Your role will include driving business development initiatives and managing customer relationships—focusing on acquiring new partners, retaining and expanding existing partnerships, and collaborating on strategic programs.

     

    You will oversee the day-to-day execution of the GS1 US Solution Partner Program, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s strategic plan across development, marketing, sales, delivery, and relationship management. Additionally, you will champion the ongoing evolution of the program, advancing its impact both within the company and across the broader partner ecosystem.

    Here are a few more details about the role (other duties may be assigned):

    + Manage a team of three: two Account Managers and one operational support staff, fostering performance and professional growth.

    + Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver program offerings, including content creation, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, certification, advisory services, and support strategies.

    + Bring hands-on experience in launching and scaling product and consultant certification programs.

    + Introduce and apply best practices to strengthen program foundations—covering delivery methodology, go-to-market strategies, pricing models, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

    + Build credibility and foster strong relationships across all levels of leadership through effective collaboration and influence.

    + Collaborate and align GS1 US Partner Program efforts with other international GS1 Member Organizations and Global Office.

    + Champion the adoption of GS1 Standards and solutions by:

    + Participating in industry meetings, conferences, and seminars.

    + Supporting advisory engagements to enable implementation of GS1 Standards and best practices.

    + Cultivating relationships with key industry contacts and thought leaders.

    + Developing and enabling partners across varying levels of GS1 Standards awareness.
