Job Description
The team you would join plays a vital part in offering the 3rd party items “Accessories” that complete the Imaging solutions for our customers and patients. If you're passionate about medical device technology and want to be part of bringing life-changing products to market involving MRI, CT, MI, Vascular, Mammo, X-ray, and Ultrasound, this is a great place to work!
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the program for a dynamic set of accessory NPI (New Product Introduction) projects totaling approximately $17M in expected yearly revenue
• Manage engineering lifecycle maintenance actions subsequent to product introductions for the Accessories items in the portfolio
• Run weekly NPI Program execution and status update meeting
• Track and manage NPI priorities in coordination with Product Management
• Reviews scheduling problems and implements solutions to mitigate at the lowest level, using project management tools and principles, and coordinating with management as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the multiple processes owned by this role; to include creating/providing standardized tools and templates to consistently meet Quality Management System and business requirements
• Provide clarity to the matrixed cross functions so they can align their work more efficiently by defining program strategies, priorities, objectives, and deliverables critical to on-time completion
• Personally lead/run NPI projects (of varying sizes and complexity)
• Train project leads on the tools and requirements to run NPIs
• Run weekly Portfolio Change and Maintenance Op Mech/meeting
• Acts as a leader to influence matrixed cross-functions; create an environment where individuals can contribute to meeting team objectives
• Coordinate/Liaise with people, up/down, laterally, inside/outside the organization to help cross-functions to achieve the business goals
• Holds self and cross-functional team members accountable for successful and timely completion of assigned tasks
• Understand and respond to the needs of internal/external customers, suppliers, and ultimately patients and healthcare professionals!
• Learn/understand the technical aspects of the 3rd party products of varying complexity being brought to market and the associated GE HealthCare medical devices they will be sold with (Modalities include MRI, CT, MI, Vascular, Mammo, X-ray, or Ultrasound); understand potential need for compatibility and possible risks. Some projects may involve direct work/collaboration with Modality Engineers.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical degree.
+ Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in project leadership that is relevant to Healthcare/Medical Device
+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Teams
+ Experience with web-based databases/information systems
+ Must possess very good verbal and written communication skills in English
+ Experience presenting status on programs or projects to peers and leaders
Desired Qualifications:
+ Master’s Degree, technical or management
+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills and decision-making ability
+ Ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all organizational levels, globally
+ Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Experience specifically in the Medical Device or Healthcare industry
+ Experience with MS Teams Planner, MS Teams Forms, and advanced MS Excel
+ Power BI experience
+ Knowledge of GE HealthCare web-based tools and processes like MyWorkshop (incl. ECR process), SQCS (SCR Process), Torus (for distribution authorization)
+ Project Management certification
+ Track record of strong performance, even with high levels of ambiguity
+ Familiar with ISO 14971 (Risk Management)
+ Familiar with IEC 60601 (Medical Electrical Equipment)
+ Familiar with environmental regulations applicable to 3rd party and GEHC product
