    The Senior Manager – HR Shared Services is responsible for setting the strategic direction to achieve operational excellence of the HR service delivery function. This role oversees HR service center operations including continuous improvement initiatives, balancing global consistency and local flexibility.

     

    This role is especially critical as the organization undergoes an HR transformation supported by implementation of a UKG HCM suite, requiring strong systems agility, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. They are accountable for support and development of a team of direct reports, driving engagement across the function and ensuring an inclusive environment within the service center.

     

    The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with breadth and depth across a wide range of HR operations areas, technology, and stakeholder engagement. They will also demonstrate a proven ability to deliver innovative, friction-free services enabling an exceptional employee experience. This Senior Manager HR Shared Services will interface with HR and business leaders at all levels, serving as an advisor to HR initiatives that support the enterprise HR strategic vision.

     

    *Key Responsibilities*

    * Shape global HR service delivery strategy. Ensure practices align with international labor laws, cultural norms, and organizational policies. Champion global consistency while supporting local flexibility.

    * Define and oversee the strategic direction of employee lifecycle management across HR; align lifecycle strategy with organizational goals and system capabilities. Determine governance of transaction design and operations; ensure enterprise-wide consistency, scalability, compliance and continuous improvement.

    * Define and oversee service center workflow strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ensure scalability, consistency, and compliance across HRIS modules.

    * Lead, develop and inspire a team of HR shared services professionals, driving team engagement.

    * Define the HR knowledge management strategy. Ensure content governance, accessibility, and alignment with organizational goals.

    * Set customer service philosophy and standards. Establish and uphold service delivery quality standards in alignment with organizational goals.

    * Define and oversee service center training philosophy in alignment with organizational goals. Champion a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

    * Define and drive strategic KPIs to measure and enhance HR service performance, ensuring alignment with HRIS capabilities. Derive insights from service center and HR data to inform strategic HR and business decisions.

    * Define and implement function’s organizational structure, ensure resource alignment to effectively accomplish service delivery priorities.

    * Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to identify opportunities to expand service center services offered.

    * Foster cross-functional collaboration across HR, IT, Legal and other stakeholders as well as business units to ensure alignment and accountability. Set the tone for strategic communication across HR and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

    * Set the vision for HR service center technology enablement. Partner with IT and vendors to ensure the tech stack supports strategic HR goals. Champion digital transformation and system adoption.

    * Represent HR service center in complex, strategic projects and ensure alignment with HR and organizational priorities. Sponsor HR-wide or enterprise-wide major change initiatives and monitor adoption.

    * Role model safe behavior and actively seek out ways to support and promote an injury-free environment.

    * 10 years building and leading HR shared service or operations teams with a best-in-class service delivery framework.

    * 5 years of managerial experience. Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high performing teams.

    * Deep understanding of overall HR processes and services, manufacturing environments a plus.

    * Proven experience leading HR service delivery teams and large-scale transformation initiatives.

    * Deep knowledge of HR tech stacks, including HR service delivery platforms (case management, knowledge content management systems), electronic file management systems, core HCM, Talent (ATS, LMS), and scheduling systems (timekeeping, WFM).

    * Demonstrated experience with process optimization and continuous improvement.

    * Strong understanding of service center and HR data analytics.

    * Strong understanding of global HR practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

    * Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

    * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise-wide alignment.

    * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

    *Location:*The successful candidate must reside in the local area. We offer a hybrid work schedule with employees working in the Seattle office at least 3 days per week (Tues.-Thurs.) and the option to work remotely the other 2 days.**

    *Compensation:*This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $142,700 to $214,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. This position is also eligible to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.**

    *Retirement*: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

    *Paid Time Off or Vacation*: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
