As a Perioperative SCM Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the OR, IR, and Cath Lab teams-making this an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage walk-in inventory from vendor reps and ensure accurate tracking.

+ Maintain consignment levels with vendors to support surgical cases and reduce owned inventory.

+ Adjust par levels to meet service needs while minimizing overstock.

+ Reallocate excess or slow-moving items to other UPMC sites to reduce waste.

+ Receive and document high-value products in the inventory system.

+ Use Excel for inventory tracking; Access knowledge is a plus.

+ Set up and label stock/non-stock items with correct storage and traceability.

+ Monitor expiration dates monthly and redistribute items as needed.

+ Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.

+ Respond to urgent clinical supply needs and support cost-saving and standardization efforts.

Schedule: This position will work Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. It will mainly work in the Operating Room (and working closely with the Surgeons) and cover Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma and 2 years of related experience Or Bachelor's degree

+ Previous inventory control experience

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Strong communication skills

+ Experience managing medical product inventories preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Act 34
