This position is located in Denver, Colorado.
This is a hybrid position, combining both in-office and remote work, requiring 2 days per week in office.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will play a key role with the finance team, and work closely with all levels of the Management, and departments across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Preparation of the Forecasting and Budgeting activities, including the following activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Coordinates the Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting processes and timelines.
+ Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
+ Develop budget/forecast review presentations, excel models, and ad-hoc analyses for the business.
+ Designs and implements reports and data feeds to support automation of manual processes. Assists in monthly close and supports other team members projects.
+ Support strategic planning and decision-making through scenario analysis.
+ Provide any ad-hoc reports and/or special projects as deemed appropriate by management team.
+ Manage key financial performance metrics and tracking.
+ Coordinates all phases of the financial planning cycle including collection, consolidation, preparation, and maintenance of data, models, and schedules related to the planning cycle.
+ Ensures that all budgets and forecasts are accurately input and reconciled in the financial systems.
+ Assists in monthly close and supports other team members projects
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Provides input to employee's performance evaluations.
+ Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities.
+ Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).

REQUIRED EDUCATION
+ Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
+ Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years
+ Prior Experience in Mortgage/Homebuilding industry is a plus.
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
+ Knowledge of Anaplan preferred.
+ Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills and ability to work outside of Finance team.
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Pay Range - $90,000 to $110,000 per year dependent upon experience.
+ This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
