    The Mechanic, Electrical is responsible for the maintenance for mill wide electrical equipment including preventive and routine maintenance. Will be responsible for planning, installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment.

    How you’ll shape the future of the Electrical/Instrumentation Department:

    + Follows all established safety rules, company policies and procedures, and recognized practices.

    + Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

    + Measures marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on metal stock surfaces

    + Observes and listens to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair

    + Dismantle machine or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects or to remove defective parts.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of Shaw Ware and operation of computer terminal for calling up work order or determining appropriate materials needed for work to be performed.

    You’ll be someone who can bring:

    + High school diploma/GED

    + Minimum five years experience

    + Able to work rotating shifts

    + Ability to work independently

    + Ability to work in various work conditions and temperatures (inside/outside)
