    Job Description

    As an IT Engineer for our Secure Managed Mac Endpoint solution, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and ongoing security of macOS devices in a highly regulated, enterprise environment. You’ll leverage industry-leading security and device management tools to ensure compliance, data protection, and operational excellence for our clients.

     

    • Deploy, configure, and maintain macOS devices using JAMF and/or other management platforms.

    • Integrate macOS devices with identity and access management solutions for authentication, as well as endpoint management and security tools for compliance, and monitoring.

    • Implement and enforce security controls using tools including Duo Health Agent, Device Certificate (Hydrant), and FileVault.

    • Configure and administer data protection and endpoint protection through tools such as Jamf Protect or other similar applications.

    • Manage, deploy and monitor device certificates, S/MIME Email certificates, and BitLocker/CMK for data encryption and secure communications.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tooling/automation that supports endpoint security such as Duo Trusted Device.

    • Manage deployment for and security of endpoint backup solutions such as Gov Incydr/Code 42 Backup.

    • Troubleshoot device, application, and security issues, acting as a subject matter expert for managed macOS security solutions.

    • Develop and update documentation for deployment, support, and compliance processes.

    • Stay current on endpoint and related security best practices, macOS updates, and emerging threats.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing macOS devices in an enterprise environment.

    • Deep understanding of macOS endpoint management tools, specifically Jamf.

    • Deep understanding of Mac OS endpoint security tools such as Jamf Protect, FileVault or other similar tools.

    • Experience with device and email certificate management (Hydrant, S/MIME).

    • Proficiency with compliance frameworks – specifically CMMC.

    • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. • Experience supporting hybrid or remote workforces.

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for government or highly regulated industries.

    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Jamf Certified Tech/Admin, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).
