Job Description
The Commercial Transactions Paralegal will support three attorneys within the Legal Department, focusing on high-volume, lower-complexity contracting work. This role involves reviewing, drafting, and organizing various commercial agreements (vendor, service, supply, licensing, confidentiality) and managing the contract lifecycle, including intake, redlines, negotiation support, and execution. Responsibilities include maintaining templates and playbooks, tracking key terms and deadlines, and managing the team’s queue in Ariba. The paralegal will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars with legal teams and executives, monitoring shared inboxes, and preparing summaries and reports—without providing legal advice. Additional duties include conducting research, supporting special projects, and ensuring accurate document formatting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to identify issues requiring attorney review, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A background in commercial, retail, or corporate settings is preferred.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably with commercial transactions or contracts
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management tools
Strong drafting, document organization, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
