Job Description
This role leads the mobile device management (MDM) strategy and operations across a large K–12 technology environment, overseeing a fleet of ~160,000 devices (including 60–70K iPads and a smaller set of Chromebooks). The Senior Manager will guide a team of three technicians, drive cleanup and inventory accuracy initiatives, and ensure secure, efficient, and scalable device management across Windows, Apple, and Chrome platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of 3 mobile device technicians, including performance management and professional development.
Oversee deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of devices across Windows, iOS/macOS (Mosyle preferred), and Chrome platforms.
Manage Google Admin and Intune environments; JAMF experience is acceptable but Mosyle is preferred.
Drive cleanup projects focused on legacy data and improving inventory accuracy.
Ensure fleet readiness for assessments and progress monitoring.
Maintain robust asset tracking and documentation systems.
Collaborate with vendors and manage service agreements to ensure high-quality support.
Enforce device security policies and ensure compliance with FERPA, COPPA, and other relevant standards.
Promote ITIL Foundation v4 principles across team operations and culture.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Pay Rate: $50-57/hr

Skills and Requirements
3–5 years of progressive experience in mobile device management, ideally in K–12 or similar environments.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Hands-on expertise with Intune, Mosyle, Google Admin, and asset tracking systems.
Familiarity with Windows, iOS/macOS, Android, and Chrome OS platforms.
Experience managing large device fleets and resolving technical issues.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
ITIL Foundation v4 certification or strong alignment with ITIL practices.
