    Job Description

    A local non-profit is looking for a Certified HVAC Tech III/Building Maintenance to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The primary responsibility is to perform repairs and maintenance on various HVAC structures, including company buildings and warehouses.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems

    • Maintain accurate log of completed jobs

    • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, and building codes

    • Troubleshoot and repair systems related to electronics, sprinkler systems, mechanical, and plumbing

    • Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials

    • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

    • Respond to emergency calls as needed

    • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safe work practices

    • Maintains local purchase, and other records for parts and materials needed to complete work

    • May supervise lower-level electricians

     

    Other duties as assigned or requested

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Licensed HVAC License (Class A, B, or C) or TDLR or Trade School.

     

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in Building Maintenance (Carpentry/Handyman Skills)

     

    Minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial experience in HVAC

     

    Experience working with chillers and cooling towers Bachelors degree
