    Job Description

    The Network Engineer II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and evaluation of network systems and communications equipment. Leads the design, implementation, operation, support, deployment, and distribution of network systems and communications equipment. Onsite in Fort Myers, FL 5 days a week!

     

    Pay varies depending on experience $45-55/hour

    Skills and Requirements

    • Experience in data center and network design - knowledgeable, assisting in designing, communicating their thoughts

    • Certifications: bare min CCNA

    • Experience working in higher education. Experience in Extreme networks Fabric deployment.

    • 5-7 years of experience. Professional full-time experience with wide and local area networks, such as experience with common-carrier data networks.

    • Experience with large to very large enterprise computing environments that include multiple site locations.

    • Network environment:

    • Extreme networks vendor they use at FGCU - more higher ed/niche = this would be amazing

    • Security, firewalls

    • Cisco - excellent experience if they do not have extreme experience

    • Routing switching firewall, palo alto

    • VPN Experience - Ivanti preferred OR Fortinet

    • Wireless in cloud - Meraki experience, cloud controller experience
