Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
6+ years of engineering experience - systems installation, integration, and test activities
Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
Experience with high level programming languages (Python, C++, etc)
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required prior to start date Project management experience
Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
