• Sr. Product Owner

    Job Description

    An employer in the Omaha, NE area is looking for a Product Owner to join their team. In this role, the candidate will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to align on the product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities. They will own and manage the team backlog, ensuring user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and actionable with acceptance criteria that drive value delivery. The candidate will actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning, system demos, and inspect & adapt workshops, while working alongside development teams to maintain clarity and alignment on requirements. Acting as the voice of the customer, they will ensure that delivered solutions meet business needs and expectations. Additionally, they will foster cross-functional collaboration across teams and stakeholders to support seamless execution and continuous improvement.

     

    The hourly rate for this position is $60-$64based on several factors including experience, education, etc. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of product owner experience (can be flex)

     

    Safe and agile background

     

    Experience working for a government regulated program or highly regulated environment (finance, healthcare, etc.)

     

    Experience with a cloud migration (azure, AWS, GCP)

     

    Experience with a SaaS platform
