Job Summary:
Four shifts per week - 9:30am - 7:00pm
The Capacity Management Team is a dedicated group of RNs who utilize nursing knowledge to coordinate emergent and non- emergent transfer of patients of all ages from outlying hospitals and physician’s offices into ProMedica Facilities. Included, but not limited to, are Trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and NICU patients. Obtains patient information through verbal communication and current software programs, identifies patient’s needs, and communicates these needs to the physician. Access RN will represent ProMedica with the knowledge and expertise to guide a caller efficiently and timely for admission into a ProMedica facility. Access RN will conference physicians among various facilities, coordinate patient transfer with dispatch center, register and enter admission orders, and ensure correct bed placement into a ProMedica Facility.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Current State license as a Registered Nurse
+ Follow communication scripts for hospital admission. Data entry skills
+ 1-2 years of acute care clinical experience
+ BLS
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Ability to critically think from assessment data. Computer knowledge and typing skills
+ 1-2 years ER or ICU experience
