A** **_Temporary_** **Laboratory Technician 1 needed in** **_UW Genome Sciences/Molecular Biology Labs_** **to perform basic laboratory procedures including:
+ Picking up dirty lab glassware, washing it, and returning it to the wet labs - 40%
+ Autoclaving biohazardous trash and disposing of it - 30%
+ Performing eye wash flushes, maintain vacuum freezer filters, mop tissue culture rooms - 20%
+ Restock paper towels and tissues in the kitchenettes - 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduation or GED certificate; OR one year’s experience performing routine work cleaning laboratory glassware, materials, or work areas or equivalent.
_Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration._
