Job Description Summary
The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to meet the facility's safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) objectives. This role focuses on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards, and supporting the development of technical expertise in CNC machining processes. Training curriculums will include new hire training, cross training of current employees, and apprenticeship programs.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide in depth perception and insight by conducting whole organization needs assessments, identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need addressing for the hourly workforce.
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate FLIGHT DECK into training programs
+ Analyze learning needs, designing training solutions in partner with Advanced Machinists
+ Establish the structure for enabling advancement of machinist skills, expectations, and growth of all hourly team members.
+ Create a shared need with business leaders to identify training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals.
+ Focus on creating/developing technical training related to CNC machining, quality, and shop procedures
+ Coordinate appropriate trainers by subject.
+ Create and deliver CNC machining-specific training programs for new hires and cross training of current employees.
+ Provide technical support training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
+ Develop and conduct Production Control Leader training programs for leadership development.
+ Facilitate career development initiatives for machine operators and maintain partnerships with local technical colleges
+ Ensure employees stay updated on mandatory and recurring training requirements.
+ Support and assist in "Train the Trainer" programs to build internal training capabilities.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing Operations experience + minimum of 3 years Manufacturing Operations experience

+ 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations
+ Training Manager experience from past roles
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
+ Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
+ Established project management skills
