What awaits you:

+ Coordinate and manage day\-to\-day activities to meet all Environmental, Health and Safety \(EHS\) standards established by applicable law or regulation

+ Develop EHS projects to help improve and enable improved safety, energy and wellness programs

+ Run environmental reporting \(waste & energy\), identify improvement opportunities and implement them

+ Manage all heath related activities in collaboration with the EHS Leadership locally

+ Support managers in implementation of safety\-related issues like risk assessment \(e\.g\.\), support plant safety committees

+ Run safety report, analyze accidents and derive measures

+ Contact person for safety related issues with technical focus in context with new project starts

+ Ensure realization of fire safety requirements

+ Support selection of personal protective equipment

+ Assist improvements on the Kautex EHS Wiki \(internal information page\)

+ Continuous participation in trainings related to Environment, Health and Safety \(EHS\) topics

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

+ Currently pursuing University degree in EHS, Safety, or related discipline

+ First practical experience in manufacturing company during studies especially in environment, health, safety or fire prevention a plus

+ Presentation skills

+ Key Performance Indicators \(KPI\) analysis, MIOSHA recordkeeping and reporting experience welcome

+ Strong Computer skills

+ Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements
