    The role you'll contribute:

    Under guidance of preceptor is responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of supplies and instrumentation utilized throughout the facility following established national standards and infection control standards.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Preceptorship until competencies verified.

    + Receives soiled and contaminated instruments or equipment from surgery/ Anesthesia/ nursing units.

    + Appropriately prepares, cleans, and disinfects instruments and equipment.

    + Inspects all instruments and equipment for damages, malfunction or unacceptable condition.

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    Required qualifications:

    + High School Grad or Equiv Required or

    + Technical/Vocational School

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Associate degree

    + 1 years of work experience

    + Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Preferred or

    + Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CSPD) Preferred or

    + Central Supply Tech (IAHCSMM) Preferred and

    + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
